Here we have the full cast line-up for BBC One’s new six-part drama Our Zoo, which begins airing on Wednesday the 3rd of September at 9:00pm. The series is based on the real life story of the Mottershead family, who back in the 1930’s, established Chester Zoo.

Behind the Scenes: Episode 4 Filming
Prior to starring in Our Zoo, lead cast member Lee Ingleby was probably best known for playing DS John Bacchus in the BBC One crime-drama Inspector George Gently. The 38-year-old actor has also appeared in such TV series as ‘Soldier, Soldier’, ‘The Street’, ‘Life on Mars’, ‘The Crimson Field‘, ‘Quirke‘ and ‘Luther’.
