Monday the 21st of April, 2014 see’s the start of BBC One’s new three-part drama series, Jamaica Inn.
Based on Daphne du Maurier’s 1936 murder mystery novel of the same name and airing over consecutive nights, this mini-series is set against the backdrop of the 1821 Cornish moors.
The story follows the journey of Mary Yellan, who’s played by actress Jessica Brown Findlay. Following the death of her mother, this young, spirited woman is forced to move in with her Aunt Patience (Joanne Whalley).
