Who are The Voice UK 2015 judges? – Series 4 Coaches Lineup

The Voice UK 2015 Coaches, Trailer and TV Start Date Officially Revealed.

Who are The Voice UK judges for 2015?

Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am, Ricky Wilson and Rita Ora.

Shortly after last series live final, coach Kylie Minogue revealed that as much as she’d enjoyed her time on the show, she wouldn’t be returning next year. This news led to understandable speculation that the Australian pop star would be replaced by original female judge, Jessie J. However, these rumours were quashed in September when it was announced via Twitter that singer Rita Ora would be joining the lineup. Less than a year ago, the Kosovo-born singer was being widely tipped for a regular spot on The X Factor UK panel. But what appears to be Simon Cowell’s loss, is now BBC One’s gain.

Away from the Kylie-Rita switch, the rest of The Voice lineup remains unchanged. Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson is back for his second season, after appearing to genuinely enjoy his first taste of coaching in 2014. Having been there since day 1, Sir Tom and Will retake their spinning seats for a fourth series, now each having been a winning coach one time.

When does The Voice UK start again in 2015?

With filming for series 4 now well underway, the show is scheduled to return to our TV screens in the new year. The exact start date and time has now been officially set for Saturday 10 January 2015 at 7:00pm on BBC One.

Presenters

After seamlessly taking over from hosts Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates in 2014, ex-JLS member Marvin Humes returns for season 4 alongside Big Brother presenter Emma Willis.

Though the hosts don’t tend to play a particularly big role on The Voice in terms of air time, one of the things I personally like about the show is its focus on the contestants and actual singing. This is of course in comparison to The X Factor which often seems to revolve around the judges. Despite still lurking in the shadow of its ITV rival, this vocal focus, combined with an absence of joke acts, appears to have earned The Voice UK a solid fan base.
