Answer: Led by Dave Arch, this group of world class singers and musicians are simply known as The Strictly Come Dancing Band. Dave Arch is responsible for arranging the performances, he also plays guitar and piano.
Because the musicians are somewhat hidden away at the back of the dance floor and the focus is naturally on the shows competitors, you can sometimes forget they’re even there. It’s clearly to the groups credit that you can even mistake their live versions for the original song, often the band are even better.
