The 10-part second season of sci-fi show Orphan Black begins airing in the UK at 10:00pm on Wednesday the 30th of April, 2014, on BBC Three.

For viewers new to the series, Orphan Black revolves around a number of human female clones, all played by Canadian actress Tatiana Maslany. Now living in various locations around the world, these clones were born to various different women by in vitro fertilization.

The new series hits the ground running with lead character Sarah Manning desperately racing to find her missing daughter Kira, a pursuit which brings her face-to-face with pro-clone Rachel Duncan.

Where is Orphan Black filmed?

Though not set in any specific real-world city, the programme is in fact filmed in Toronto, Canada. The shows producers appear to be happy with setting the story in a generic unnamed city, without definitively linking its characters or events to a particular place.
