When are the National Television Awards in 2014?

Question: What date are the ITV NTA’s taking place in 2014?

Answer: The next National Television Awards ceremony will be broadcast live on ITV from 7:30pm to 10:00pm on Wednesday, 22 January, 2014.

It’s that time of year where Eastenders and Corrie go head to head, Strictly squares off against The X Factor, and Ant and Dec pick up their annual best presenters trophy.

The event will once again be held at London’s O2 Arena and will be hosted by X Factor’s very own Dermot O’Leary.

Here are some of the highlights from last years NTA ceremony:

The initial voting round has already begun but will conclude on Friday, October 11, 2013. Votes cast here won’t directly decide who wins what, but instead will be used to narrow the fields of contenders down to a more manageable quantity. After these votes have been counted, the final phase of voting will be held in January when fans get to chose their favorite shows from the shortlist of contenders.
