Most famous for playing the character Jo Portman in fellow BBC Drama ‘Spooks’, season 3 of Silk see’s actress Miranda Raison take up the role of Harriet Hammond.
The 33-year-old joins the 2014 Silk cast playing Shoe Lane’s new Practice Manager. Following a successful period of her career working for a human rights charity, Harriet sets of her stall in Chambers as someone who follows the rules to the letter.
Episode 1 of 6 of the new series premieres in most regions at 9:00pm on Monday, 24 February on BBC One.
Since her time on Spooks, Miranda has appeared in a number of other UK TV shows including Merlin, Death in Paradise, Vexed and Lewis.

The English actress has also been starring on stage in such productions as ‘Strangers on a Train’ and playing the title role in Howard Brenton’s ‘Anne Boleyn’.
