‘Death In Paradise’ Series 4: 2015 Trailer and Air Date Released

BBC One have now officially released the 2015 air date and trailer for Death In Paradise series 4, with the new 2015 season of the hit comedy-crime drama scheduled to broadcast over eight-1 hour episodes.

When does Death in Paradise series 4 start?

The start date and time for BBC1’s return to Saint-Marie has been set for Thursday 8 January 2015 at 9:00pm, with catch-up available soon after on BBC iPlayer.

Guest stars you can look out for in the new series of DIP include Outnumbered’s Tyger Drew-Honey, Emmerdale’s Amy Nuttall, The Fast Show’s Simon Day, Broadchurch and In the Club’s Will Mellor, plus Coronation Street and Strictly Come Dancing’s Natalie Gumede.

Season 4 also see’s the addition of French actress Joséphine Jobert (pictured above, centre), who joins the show as new police officer Florence. The 29-year-old comes in as the replacement for actor Gary Carr’s character, Sergeant Fidel Best.

Just released by the BBC, this brand-new trailer gives us a sneak peak at the Caribbean adventures in store for 2015. We also get our first glimpse of some of this years guest stars in action:

Starring Kris Marshall as Detective Inspector Humphrey Goodman and Sara Martins as Detective Sergeant Camille Bordey, this latest series of Death In Paradise was filmed on the real life islands of Guadeloupe, in the Caribbean.

Providing viewers with light-hearted winter escapism to this sunny holiday paradise, DIP has proven a big hit among British audiences, with 2014 viewing figures averaging close to the 7 million mark.

Originally featuring Ben Miller as Detective Inspector Richard Poole, series 1 premiered on BBC One in October of 2011.
