Here’s a look at some of the BBC, ITV and Channel 4 TV highlights for Christmas Eve 2013:

3:40pm BBC One – Toy Story 2. (1999 Movie) Part two of the award-winning animated adventure, with follow-up Toy Story 3 to air on Christmas Day.

5:55pm BBC One – Finding Nemo. (2003 Movie) The second of today’s Pixar classic animations. Follow the adventures of clown fish Marlin (voiced by Albert Brooks), as he searches to find his missing son Nemo (voiced by Alexander Gould).

7:30pm Channel 4 – The Snowman and The Snowdog. Seasonal animation where a snowman and snowdog are brought to life.

8:00pm ITV – Midsomer Murders. A new series of the murder-mystery drama gets underway with episode 1, The Christmas Haunting.

9:00pm BBC One – Last Tango in Halifax. Final episode of series 2 where the big day has arrived for Alan and Celia.

9:00pm BBC Two – QI XL. Guests Brendan O’Carroll, Phil Jupitus and Jo Brand join Alan Davis and host Stephen Fry for this years QI Christmas special.

9:00pm Channel 4 – The IT Crowd. Despite its final episode airing earlier this year, Channel 4 is dedicating Christmas Eve night to one of Britain’s funniest and most underrated sitcoms. The evenings line-up boots-up at 9 o’clock with the one-off episode, The Internet is Coming. Them at 10 there’s a real treat for all fans of the comedy series, with a special behind-the-scenes documentary. After that Channel 4 will be broadcasting two classic episodes, the first a fans favorite, the second chosen by the shows writers.
