‘Cars That Rock’ with AC/DC’s Brian Johnson – Quest 2014 Start Date Confirmed

This May on Quest see’s the start of a brand-new high octane TV series hosted by AC/DC lead singer, Brian Johnson.

Premiering at 9:00pm on Thursday the 8th of May, 2014, ‘Cars That Rock’ will feature the Gateshead rocker indulging his passion for fast and exotic cars, getting behind the wheel of some of the worlds greatest motors from both the past and modern day.

Displaying both his motoring knowledge and colourful sense of humour, Brian will be will be getting hands on, sharing the history of some of the most iconic cars in history.

Over the course of this 6×60-minute series, the legendary frontman delves into the rich heritage of such brands as Porsche, Lamborghini, Bugatti, Rolls Royce and of course Ferrari.

In episode 1, Brian starts his journey right her in the UK, taking a look at the classic British Mini. During the show he’ll be visiting the factory to see how today’s Mini’s are put together, getting a driving masterclass from rallying legend Paddy Hopkirk and finally taking to the track in a full on official Mini race.

Brian Johnson manages to bring a fresh and natural style of presenting to the show, with his genuine love and knowledge of cars consistently showing though. The AC/DC stars down-to-earth and sometimes hilarious personality, should guarantee the series is a big hit with both the casual viewers and petrol heads alike. Not to mention all the AC/DC fans out there.

So that’s Cars That Rock, airing Thursdays from the 8th of May at 9:00pm on Quest, Freeview TV channel 38, Sky 167 and Virgin Media 172.
